For over 110 years, the Santagata company has specialised in the selection and marketing of high-quality olive and extra virgin olive oils under the Santagata and Frantoio Portofino brand names. Founded in 1907, it has since then been supplying the best olive oils in compliance with the strictest European standards and through a stringent quality and safety control system.
Santagata’s activity is divided into two areas:
- Selection and marketing of bulk oil specially created for major national and international brands.
- Selection and commercialisation of bottled oil destined for the final consumer.

Founded in 1907, it has since then been supplying the best olive oils in compliance with the strictest European standards and through a stringent quality and safety control system.

Through the study and analysis of innumerable varieties of oils, every year Santagata creates balance and harmony between the flavor notes of each individual product, both packaged and bulk, and maintains their quality high and unaltered over time, thanks to the analysis of the organoleptic characteristics of its oils.
Santagata purchases its raw materials from accredited suppliers, long-standing collaborators of the company – present on the local, national and European markets – and guarantees excellence of quality and consistency of taste in all its products thanks to specialized analyses, technical expertise and professional tastings. The entire Santagata management is a professional ONAOO taster.
Technical expertise is also backed up by an in-depth knowledge of the market: the agricultural world of production (different production years, weather and systemic factors influencing the harvests); customers’ needs (taste, quality and service); the economic system of oil (financial dynamics, market fluctuations).
Among the most demanding oil connoisseurs, Santagata brand is today synonymous with ‘high and inimitable quality’.
