History

Over 110 years have passed since then, during which five generations of the Santagata family have succeeded in running the company with the same passion, dedication and professionalism. His son Luigi, while maintaining the artisanal nature of the production, expanded the company’s boundaries into Italy. Grandson Mario and great-grandson Massimo Santagata opened up to international markets and moved the company to Via Albisola in Genoa, in a more appropriate location in terms of size and turnover.

Today, Federico and Cristina, the fifth generation of a well-established family tradition, supported by a team of collaborators and experts, continue to offer their customers top quality products, and run a well-established company with strong local and national roots and growing international ramifications.

In 2012, the company was officially included in the register of Historical Companies of Italy, which recognizes the entrepreneurial activities that have been able to transmit their heritage of skills and knowledge to subsequent generations for over a century.
