Santagata 1907 considers sustainability a key lever for the creation of value over time. For this reason, we have embarked on a path that defines concrete actions for our company and for future generations, in order to actively contribute to the sustainable transition process of the olive oil supply chain: fair, conscious and respectful of the values of society and nature.
Aware of the growing importance of integrating sustainability issues into business strategy, our main objective is to identify relevant content, monitor its progress and set ESG targets for the coming years, adopting an approach that goes beyond mere regulatory compliance.
The company’s strategy aims to continuously improve its services, with targeted interventions towards the value chain. A simplified and consolidated business model has helped to respond quickly and effectively to exogenous phenomena of exceptional magnitude, such as the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the recent and dramatic war events that are affecting Europe and that are causing profound transformations in the energy and digital transition, in the circular economy and in the conservation of natural resources.
