Santagata 1907 presents the second Sustainability Report

Santagata 1907, a historic Italian company active in the selection and marketing of olive and extra virgin olive oils, recently published its second Sustainability Report for the period 2023-2024. This document is an important testimony of the company’s commitment to responsible and sustainable growth.
Santagata 1907 considers sustainability a fundamental lever for the creation of lasting value. The sustainability path undertaken in the last two financial years defines concrete actions for the company and future generations, in order to actively contribute to the sustainable transition process of the olive-growing and oil production chain.
Since its foundation in 1907, Santagata has based its business model on values of quality, integrity and responsibility. With its second Sustainability Report, the company confirms its willingness to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues into its corporate strategy, reporting on its initiatives and progress in a transparent manner.
The paper analyses several crucial areas for corporate sustainability:
– Governance
– Social responsibility
– Product responsibility
– Environmental responsibility
In anticipation of the sustainability obligations that will involve large companies from 2026, Santagata 1907 has already initiated concrete actions such as the installation of photovoltaic panels for energy self-sufficiency and the introduction of a home daycare service for employees’ children. In addition, the company is aiming for UNI PDR 125 certification on equal opportunities and adhesion to the Renoils campaign for the correct management of used oil.
This path is not a goal, but a starting point for an ongoing dialogue with stakeholders, strengthening the company’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda goals for a more sustainable development.
