On Monday 30th May, the fifth edition of the Forum Olio & Ristorazione, the event connecting extra virgin olive oil with those who produce it and those who use it, will take place in Milan at Palazzo delle Stelline.

Cristina Santagata will participate together with the chef, trainer, expert in Food & Beverage Management and teacher at the IPSSA Nino Bergese of Genoa Andrea Cresta at the event “Is everything “smooth as oil” in hotel schools?” to talk about the importance of the role of training and how fundamental it is to be able to define one’s own future.

The 2022 edition of the Forum Olio & Ristorazione, an event organised and conceived by Olio Officina with the coordination of oleologist Luigi Caricato, will have as its main theme the “oliocentric restaurants”, i.e. all those professional kitchens that present, or would like to do so, even in the dining room to their customers, oil with care and passion. But not only the oil also the vinegars must be highlighted!

It will be a day full of speeches during which the winners of the national competition for high schools ‘Liscio come l’olio’ (Smooth like oil) held in Genoa at the Nino Bergese hotel institute and for which we were official suppliers of extra virgin olive oil will also be awarded.

At the end of the day, the awards ceremony will take place as part of the Milan International Olive Oil Award to recognise the best oils on the market.
