Our company with our products “Frantoio di Portofino” supports “Genoa Pesto World Championship”®, the main food and wine event in Liguria, organized by the Cultural Association Palatifini, held every two years at Palazzo Ducale prestigious seat of the Doges of the ancient Republic of Genoa.

100 competitors from all over the world compete in the preparation of Pesto using high quality ingredients and traditional instruments (marble mortar and wooden pestle). 30 judges – including restaurateurs, tasters, experts and food and wine journalists – evaluate them until they decide the world champion. Thousands of guests, including journalists and bloggers, experts and curious in the kitchen and beyond.

An extraordinary day to promote an entire territory, its tradition and quality of life, the producers of its best products.
